What's Your Windows Experience Index Score?

Here's mine, I need to replace my system drive with a SSD.

Windows can't properly compute my score because it can't benchmark my drive. Apparently, it doesn't know how to handle the RAID1 it created. Boooo

I don't have a super GPU so my low end is on graphics:
          Windows aero = 4.1
          3d performance = 5.4

Everything else is the exact same as the OP

              i7 920
              12GB RAM @ 1600mhz 8-8-8-24
              ATI 5850
              2 x 147GB 15,000 RPM SAS Drives in Raid 0
(I tried the 80GB Intel SSD, which did raise the score, but I ended up returning it and going back to SAS drives as I needed the drive space)

I would have thought an i7-920 would score higher than my Phenom II X2 555 (unlocked to quad core).

Maybe it should, im running a stock clock... either way; WEI isn’t exactly the most accurate measurement of performance. For my application (VMWare Workstation), it does a fine job of running 8+ VMs when I’m doing network test dev. Yet an i3 processor with a higher clock speed can pull off better gaming benchmarks.

I have two 15K SAS drives that don’t score much higher than a single 7200 RPM desktop drive. Nor does my 10 Drive RAID 50 or drive raid 0 setups. For HDD it really looking at seek time, not sustained or max throughput. I don’t know if it considers IOPS in its measurements… Real world performance is pretty drastic for such a small score increase in my usage patterns.

                      I've got a 6.9 - can't recall the breakdown. I'm running a mid-range SSD and I'll never happily compute on a mechanical drive again.

Everything 5.4 except gaming graphics is 3.4. So my score is 3.4.
