A little too boxy but pretty cool looking!! I'd get it once my AT&T contract is up and I can upgrade. OR if I can find it in a coffee shop. LOL!! Knowing Apple, they probably did it on purpose!!

Well it has a camera on the correct side for making video calls now. Depending on what other features get confirmed I may upgrade.

I would agree. I very much dislike Apples business models but one thing I will give them is that they have the best market department in the world. They took music files and told the world "we are going to make it more expensive, put it on proprietary hardware, and make it 100X more restrictive" and the whole damn world ate it up! WTF?!?! People slept in lines out in the rain for apples products and that just blows my mind. They have taken their brand and made it a fashion trend because any tech savvy person knows their products don't do anything different than what was already out there. Apple has done nothing new. They have taken others creations and polished it and slapped their name on it then screamed bloody murder when another company does the same. That just pisses me off as a tech. They took Linux and claimed it was their creation. All they did was build a GUI for it. Kids in dorm rooms do that all the time.

Nice. But I would buy a case right away. Seems like there's no protection for the screen when and if you drop the phone. My contract is up next month. I will definitely upgrade once this is available.

I've had every MSFT phone OS until 2009 and they all suck IMO. At least the iPhone created a working application store model and they nurture their OS. With MSFT I always felt they never nurtured their phone products.
As for Android, I'm like it and would consider an Android powered phone. At least they're growing support and trying to create a competetive model against Apple. When my funds allow, I will get an Android HTC phone for international use.

And that's the difference between MS and Apple. MS gives you the OS, and tells you to go forth and multiply.

Apple gives you the OS and the Hardware platform, and then tells you *precisely* what you may code, and HOW you code it. And if you code something that they don't like, for any reason whatsoever, you don't get to distribute that program. Oh, and they can revoke your program at any time for any reason, based on the whims of the all might Jobs.

I obviously prefer the Windows OS to the Apple one.

I hear you bigmike82. For desktop and servers I only run Linux, and Windows.
If I want a "Do Everything" phone, I will choose the Linux platform. If I want an everyday "Phone +" I'm looking at an iPhone.

OS X is not Linux, nor is it BSD. It is Mach. And they do contribute to the open source community, the KDE project gets code from Apple for instance.
