        Yes, I run Linux on a computer. I'm an old Unix guy. I wish it was more popular.
        Oh, and unlike Windows, Linux doesn't slow down with age.

          I recently read a bit about Atlas OS. It's not an OS (although the name implies differently), it's a "tweaK" to Windows to rid much of the bloat and kill unneeded processes. It's billed as a thing for gamers to squeeze a few more fps and reduce CPU utilization.

          Perhaps it might help. Full disclosure: I don't run it. I did try it out on a Win10 VM. Install went OK, but didn't see any performance gain due to the VM (didn't expect any). My old Lenovo runs Win11 well enough for my needs.
