I looked at the plan terms carefully there isn't a data cap/limit on it. We are using 10-20GB/day with everything connected to it and no loss of speed/service so far.
One of my buddies gave those network carrier home internet (forgot if it was T-Mobile or Verizon) a try during the 30 day period and found that during the day, it felt like their home internet was being throttled for the cell service users. Not sure if this is true or not, but it was enough to convince them to opt out after the 30 day(s) and switch back to Xfinity.

You may want to give it further testing at all times of the day especially if you're in a high-traffic area...

We switched to YouTubeTV for streaming 'conventional' television with local channels a bit over a year ago. Both image quality and price are significantly improved!

My reference was to AppleTV+ which is similar to Amazon Prime Video, they have a rotating library of movies and Apple production content. I was wondering if it also has live TV service, but I'm thinking it probably does not.

Yeah I've been speedtest.net testing it obsessively the last couple of weeks. It appears that it's both available bandwidth and demand of current usage controlled. If your demand suddenly increases it takes a few seconds for the router to open up more data lanes to the cell tower. If the network usage is high the speed will be lower. So far it hasn't been much below their minimum advertised speed of 85Mbps at any time of day which is fine for our needs. A 4k movie burns about 20Mbps so that's probably the highest single use we would have.

If you want streaming live TV your options pretty much are:

OTA local (not streaming but free if you can get decent reception)
          Sling Tv
Philo Tv (which I think Is pretty much the cheapest )
          Fubu
          YouTube premium
          Hulu plus Live
DirectTV Live (which I had as ATT now and think is way too expensive )

There is also Pluto Tv which is free (they run commercials ) but it?s line up is a lot of stuff from the 60?s- 70?s-80?s plus 10 or so year old cable network programming. It basically looks like your cable box TV guide in the 90?s or 2000s but there?s always something to watch as long which isn?t bad for free.

In any case the paid services basically vary in price according to their channel packages but the biggest difference is do you want sports and which ones.

I personally think all these services have gotten quite expensive especially if you have things like Netflix or similar on the side. You can also go back to cable if they are running a promo and end up paying less at this point.

I?m doing OTA and canceling and adding Hulu / Netflix etc as needed. We always have Prime anyway. I really don?t feel like spending more than $20-30 a month on this stuff. It?s mostly a waste of time anyway. Imo and all that.
