The best email service is to run your own email server. Then you actually have a modicum of privacy and no BigTechCorp building a profile of you based on your emails.

With all tech

If you are not paying for it, you are their source of income.

Any free mail takes your data and builds a profile on you.

And this is why I run my own. Also, if they don't like what you say (e. g. something not Democrat Party Platform like anything pro-2A), they can't "ban" you from your email account since you own the email server. :-)

Proton mail FTW. Though I do have several Outlook mail accounts as well. Different mailboxes for different purposes.

FYI.
Proton also has built in calendar, if you need one, but it lacks some important functionalities like individual event color categories.
