Need dedicated server host recommendations

I'm not going to doubt that Linode doesn't have customers with compromised servers, but in my observation of our traffic over the past several years, Linode is not even a blip in the origin of malicious traffic to my organization (with two class B's).

Digitalocean is primary US based sources of malicious traffic. Everything else is foreign based ASNs, specifically China, Brazil, Africa, and Eastern Europe.

As far as abuse reports, the worst offender is Google.

DO is pretty bad, too. I think the bad guys just geo-balance across the insecure cloud providers, or divvy up their email lists to shard across all their bot hosts.

Yes, I get a ton of messages from compromised GMail accounts and those like: 636686336853466+ye5762367@gmail.com.

It’s pretty trivial to regex them out, or use strict SPF filtering as they never set up DNS records, but I’ve mostly given up on sending abuse reports, even automatically due to the quicker proliferation than culling.
