I've sworn to never buy another HP product again. My HP printer is buggy POS that only works if it feels like and HP Support gives me all these complex rules for how I need to shut down my PC, re-boot, THEN start printer after PC is booted, etc.
I've got an older HP desktop running Windows 10 and it can't talk to HP printer because everything is via home router and reasons.
HP is no longer HP. Last CEO was some Australian guy who had to suddenly step down for "reasons" I'm guessing alcoholism etc, and he was replaced by some....???
I think HP is what happens when its just a brand that outsources everything to lowest bidder then hopes it all works together when put in a box and shipped.
My buddies more in the know say Brother and Canon and rock solid and "plug and play". Those firms got long time Japanese CEOs (and rest of top management) and I'd guess they take quality personally.
