You gotta love the 4k video car commercials or whatever while you are trying to stream mediocre quality audio on Pandora or similar music app.

god, the internet service needs to be turned into a public utility.
private companies competing will always be faster than the government...

Saying the government should take over industries is straight up commie talk, you should reevaluate your position.

you to play DOOM over the modem or serial cable.

The documentation for the DM.EXE program is named DM.TXT, the documentation

Talk about social networking and sometime just as hostile as today.

I just recently tossed my old 300 baud cradle phone modem.

I guess I should be thankful for the 5.9 or 6.0 mbps I get from AT&T for 60.00 a month.

Yeah. How many T1's is that?

Why do you get those speeds in San Diego, though?

I recall being in La Mesa and having Dial-up... MSN? Also had a second tower PC that was a Cyrix CPU, hahah (for serial gaming).

If T1's is phone lines, just one.

As far as cost I pay, 60.59 for what they call "Internet Basic 6". Year and a half ago it was 1.5 to 3.0 for about 10.00 less. According ATT the max that I can get is 8.0 to 10.00 mbps for a 110.30 a month. This is as of about two months ago that I last rattled their cage.

I think I know all the field techs that work my area for the last 20 years by their first names. (Old brittle copper wire infrastructure dating to 1972).

I guess it's still better than the old dial up and using GEnie as the Internet provider. (18.00 an hour daytime rate, but free after 18:00 hrs.)

                              Respectfully
