    HULU

I am interested in Hulu and local channels. But I like to know if the local sub channels are also provided. Therefore not only get channel 2 but 2.1, 2.2...2.6 etc.
Anyone have experience with the topic.
    TIA

You have to select a package from HULU that also provides local access. It will not have the sub channels like you would get from over the air.

You would need to get the Hulu w/ Live TV package for around $65/mo to get all of your local channels plus a bunch more. It works for us as we were paying $150/mo w/ Directv with no special channels.

Yes, it streams through your wifi. I have a Roku box on the front tv and a Roku stick in the bedroom. With the Roku sticks you get additional channels that are free on the Roku channel and others channels that you can download.

I'm a big fan of Hulu - but just for recorded programming library... I use an antenna for OTA channels.

Why would you pay for ota channels?

Isn't there a trail, so you can sample the ale before committing?

In my case, live by hills and can't get OTA channels via antenna

If you want to "cut the cord" but you still want to get the local digital channels you should get an OTA DVR.

Of course you would need to be able to get a good selection of OTA channels. There are several on the market and from what I've read the best bang for the buck is the Fire Recast.

You can also try using Local BTV. It's an app that will let you stream the .2, .3, .etc of some of the channels in your area. It even comes with a 1TB Cloud DVR. It's a completely free service that my do what you're looking for.

                          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
