I played Diablo 2 the first time... only like 3 years ago, myself.

Played it all the way though like 1.5 times and called it quits.

We used to have a BUNCH of fun with Diablo OG, on DSL and Dial-up connections. That and Darksun Online (the first real legit D&D Internet connected game).

It was REALLY funny that I got an i7, and then immediately played Diablo 2 on it, same as you are doing...

I had like $36 in my Steam Wallet from selling uncommon items in TF2, so I just bought Borderlands the Pre-Sequel just today,
not sure about today, it was actually yesterday, as it is on sale, and I am a sucker for sales, even if I played and was done with a game on Xbox 360.

I don't play too many games these days, once I got into Linux my gaming was stunted, and I had primary custody of my son,
but the Fallout 3+++ series, Borderlands, and Bioshock (OG was the best) flipping ROCKED.
Playing some games proceeded as he approached 18.

I haven't tried NV yet, though I do have it on Steam. I always buy games on sale, and I've played probably about 5% of my entire Steam library due to having two young boys and time constraints. But I'll just continue to build my library for the rare occurrence when I have time to play.

My current go to is still Skyrim, which also has a huge modding community, and a fully modded Skyrim is so much more fun (and challenging) to play. I currently use the Ultimate Skyrim mod pack, if you might be interested, I highly recommend it:

Wildlander is a survival roleplaying modpack for Skyrim Special Edition. It combines over 500 incredible mods with custom features found only in Wildlander.

Hardcore gamers play Hillsfar (1989), and Pool of Radience (1988)... like it ain't no thang...

I THINK I still have POR(, and MAYBE Hillsfar) 5.24" floppys, IN BOX (NOT new), BUT you can get them on abandon-ware rings...!

                    POR was the shiz-nitz!

Been planning on playing through New Vegas soon. I've had it sitting in my Steam library for ever. What mods do you recommend?
