I recently switched to Privacy Browser for my Android browser. Really liking it so far.

Hmm...this is interesting. It reminds me of the Iceweasel browser that Debian used to include in their distribution some years ago. Thanks for the heads-up about this. Hadn't heard of Librewolf.

Before we ditch Firefox, remember this as well, folks. Richard Stallman is a big-time lefty and has been for several decades. That's why he started the GNU project in the first place; it's essentially "socialist computer science". That's right, the very reason why we have F/OSS (GNU/Linux, the BSD's, etc.) is because of lefties (Stallman also wrote GCC and GNU Make). Well, Stallman said that "Freedom #0", i. e. the first freedom, is the ability to run a program *for any purpose*. If a program is Free Software, then by definition we can run it for any purpose. That includes Firefox and any of its derivatives; the above mentioned Librewolf could not exist otherwise. Mitchell Baker and the rest of the Mozillians cannot prevent people from using Firefox to, say, surf even to that hateful site Stormfront if that's one's thing. If you're worried about backdoors with Firefox, then remember what I said above about that.

Just switched from Firefox to Brave and so now the learning begins.

I am looking at an alternative for thunderbird, any recommendations?

As long as you're not using IE, Chrome or Mozilla, I think you're golden. Your next task is to drop MacOS and Windows for Linux.

I'm pretty sure the Bill of Rights says nothing about the right to use Twitter and Facebook. Trump would have sued immediately if there was a rights issue.

Didn't I just watch Trump give his farewell address? Dude could have broadcast anything at anytime as President.

What about fighting calguns when it bans people? freedom of speech, right?

Do e-mail links on iPhones and iPads always still default to Safari, or have they fixed that to be able to set to the browser of your choice... yet?

If the issue is privacy for reasons NOT to use a browser or search engine, too late. That boat has sailed (and sunk).

As long as your phone has the 'location' option enabled (and it needs to be enabled to use any map service), big brother knows where you are, who you are, etc. ARe you using the same browser for your laptop/desktop and cell phone? Kiss your privacy good-bye. Duck Duck is OK to use (serves a limited purpose) but you loose a lot of search information by not using Google or Yahoo.

Our loss of privacy occurred many years ago.
