Seriously, problems like that are one major reason why I switched to GNU/Linux years ago, and those problems went bye-bye. Since I'm not a gamer, the issue of "the best games are for Microsoft!" doesn't affect me. For those of you who do still depend on Microsoft...be careful.

That's not even true anymore with Steam on Linux - and most "AAA" titles coming out have native Linux support built in thanks to all the efforts Valve (company behind Steam) has dumped into making gaming on Linux a viable thing - not just an afterthought.Seriously, problems like that are one major reason why I switched to GNU/Linux years ago, and those problems went bye-bye. And now that most new "AAA" titles support the Vulkan graphics API, which is natively cross-platform capable, things are getting better and better each day.Comment

^^ That's excellent news, and I've been hearing good news over the last few years about Steam on Linux for games. It's looking like there is ever decreasing reason not to make the switch."San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"
