I have had few issues, but lately TF2 has whacked out while trying to run, and I have to logout, prior to last-current... 20H2.

No issues since, but it was intermittent, not static... Only Issue I have had.

I did let it power-sleep when not in use though, not so much before say 1909, was it?

Microsoft generally releases patches every second Tuesday of every month. By playing paranoid and not keeping up with patches, you may incur yourself several reboots to get fully up-to-date. By waiting so long, you make it difficult on yourself to narrow down which patch caused ill-effect.

If you are truly that skeptical of Microsoft, then you should schedule your patching to the third week of the month. At least that way, if there were a bad patch, they would have it sorted out by then. With zero-day malware attacks, you shouldn't stay out of patch for months at a time.

I keep TELLING Microflaccid, that as SOON as they come out with 7.1 Pro, I'm all over it!

In the meantime, I'm sticking with what WORKS.

Oh yeah, the latest auto-installed update was sooo much fun this morning.
Missing exe file, can't open Office, everything slow.
Troubleshooter takes forever then says "all good" which it certainly isn't.
Reload the last update then the add-on with a few restarts mixed in.
          Finally it works again.

Not to mention all the bloatware it installs without consent, some of which can't be removed. It is really not much different from Android in that respect.

Buy a $30.00 SSD install Linux Mint and see if you like it. Libra Office word processing spread sheets all free.

The latest win 10 patch has issues with some SSDs.... just talking about it in our IT meeting today. the 20H2 update has some issue with Thunderbolt NVMe drives... looks like it also effects the 2004 release too. I don't know the full details its not my responsibility.

It's called a "feature" not a bug, just remember that next time things go FUBAR.

Ugh! Win 10 has informed me on a couple occasions that v20H2 is waiting to be downloaded. With the most recent (previous) update, it seems Win 10 puts my three external USB connected hard drives (two SSD and one 7,200) to sleep after 5 minutes. But, doesn't put my printer to sleep (that I can control through the printer options). I turned off the USB sleep functions but that didn't work.
