We have these at home and at our business. They work well with good resolution. They are a bit expensive (~$200 per camera), but simple to set up and you're up and running in about 10 minutes. There are other companies with similar offerings. We use Nest so are familiar with this brand.

          There's a "workaround" for blink

There is no official Blink App for PC or Mac but you can use Android emulators to workaround this. Read our guide to find out how.

Reolink is GTG. I have a few, and my favorite is its Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) outdoor WiFi camera, powered by its own solar panel.

Yes, I can view (and control the PTZ movement of) the camera, using the Reolink app, on all my iOS and Windows devices.

Yep, no wires or cables, so I could mount it anywhere as long as it had decent sunlight for the solar panel (I used an Amplifi Mesh wireless router, it covered my 7,500 sq-ft lot without problem.)

Mine has been running for a couple years, it never let me down. I liked it so much, I just bought a second one.

I can monitor my Blink cameras with IOS, Android and my PC. I use the Blue Stacks program to run Android on the PC. I do the same with my Wize cams but Wize has made some changes that have me wanting to quit using them. They had free person detection then took that away because Apple bought the company that made the person detection. They now have their own person detection and want to charge a monthly fee for it.

How good is Blink at night?, this is when I need it the most.
Want to monitor my driveway, side yard and back yard.
Want Wifi, I don't want to run 100ft of wire to the front driveway.
Do you have to store video in the cloud? as I want to store it on a hard rive of some sort.

Again I want a stand alone, do not want to pay for a service.

Wyze has a new outdoor camera coming in November. I ordered one today.
Wyze Cam v4: 2.5K QHD resolution, Color Night Vision, indoor/outdoor use, 24/7 recording with MicroSD. The best "never wonder again" security camera ever made.

I use blink almost extensively for night views. You can download video onto whatever you want. It's wifi

                            It works great.
I do the same with Ring brand cameras.

I just ordered Lorex system with a 2TB dvr and 6 4k color night vision cameras. Connects to wifi for remote viewing, can send motion alerts, and theres a spotlight and siren on each camera.

I got it on sale for $299 and the sale ended yesterday, regular price at costco is $399, walmart sells the same system for $549

I think I am going to order this system.
Have you got yours installed yet, if so how do like it?
