26650 flashlights that only take 18650's, 18650's that claim 5800Mah... but you have a tester.

I just purchased some China flashlights that say they take 18650 and 26650, as they are playing the keyword-spamming game, but I have some of these and I KNOW they won't fit a 26650.

Just wondering if anyone else does this so the vendor either fixes the listing-lies, and/or you get free product after a refund.

I have a small growing collection of fake USB drives from Chinese sellers on ebay. If they give you a chicken scratch address to return it to, you do not have to return it. They have to give you an English address.

Yeah, no such thing as a 256GB usb 3 drive for $9.99. Check it out with Fake flash tester or any of the usb programs and you get to file a complaint against them AND keep their garbage as a trophy.

Products from China almost always lie about everything they can do, including all their specifications.

I might expect that on some Chinese website but it even happens all over the place on Amazon and others.
          To answer the original question...
No, I don't do that buying, testing, returning or trying to return and then keeping the items but I'm glad someone is testing and returning their BS lying advertising.

I think because the products are inexpensive we've come to just expect them to be very low quality and lying about they're specs on what they're capable of doing.

I'd like to think they would eventually learn a lesson and stop and get with the rest of the world because you wouldn't see that type of BS lying from a German or Swiss company...

But the reality is until a large percentage of the people are in a long line to return the cheap Chinese BS products the Chinese companies will tell be making enough profit that they don't have to worry about a few people that do complain about their lies or try to return items that make claims that can't be backed up.

I do my best to avoid buying cheap Chinese fakes but I do know you can often put a 18650 in a 26650 or 21700 flashlight and have it function just fine.
