When we first got our 52" Samsung (2008?) The normal frame rate looked "juddery" to us because we were unaccustomed to such a large screen... but the 120 fps frame rate looked somehow "superfluid" and unnatural. We switched back and forth a bit before opting for tge higher frame rate. After a few weeks your eyes and visual cortex adjust and it looks normal.

Try noth ways for a while... a week one way, a week another ... odds are you'll adjust and prefer the higher setting.
