Verizon has a wifi calling option for many/most of their phones...

Learn how to use Verizon Wi-Fi calling if cellular service isn't available.

It doesn't require any special hardware beyond a compatible phone...

      They appear to.

AT&T Cell Booster uses your current internet service to create a strong, secure, and shareable signal in your home.

I’d need an option that boosts the cellular only, having people log into the WiFi would be a problem.

We had that problem until they put a cell booster (whatever that is) in the attic.

We just installed a surecall cell booster in our office. We were dropping calls and having poor signal. the booster worked.

These look pretty good. I assume just a regular internet connection and hook these up to it?

Wilson makes cell repeaters that are good

The question - how is coverage from outside the office where you can place an antenna?

I have had poor experience with my iPhone and Wi-Fi calling.
If the phone cannot find a cell tower and the AT&T. Network, then Wi-Fi call calling does not work.

If Wi-Fi calling works, add a public mesh network
You can limit traffic by either blocking or allowing sites on the router management.

There are 2 types of repeaters to boost signal for each transmission type. Talk to yout carrier about solutions.

I have found the AT&T mircocells to not work well. They give them free to large clients and they still suck. One site had to go the DAS route.

THe part about the phone having to connect to a tower even though I use WiFi calling.

Lucky you . . . where I work, there are no cell phones, no laptops, no smart watches or thumb drives. They have to stay in your car.

My office is in quite the little dead zone right in the middle of Santa Ana, at least for AT&T. I finally changed over to tmobile and everything is ok again.
