I just deleted them. I also found and applied a firmware update for my Netgear router but after updating and rebooting both laptop and router, intermittent connectivity issue seems to persist. Problem seems confined to the Dell laptop as both my smartphone and Kindle Fire work fine.

Check your computer time, and date. If it isn't right, this can occur.
Try deleting your Wi-Fi driver, and re-installing it. Go to Dell's website, and download your Wi-Fi driver FIRST, and put it on flash.
If all else fails, as @heyasiankid notes, back up, do factory reset.
If you don't know how to do this, check Dells website for your model.Comment

After further intensive testing, any devices using my POS Netgear router are experiencing the same losses of connectivity. This is the second NG router to go bad on me in six years so I am done with them. We only stream lightly & don't game so after reading a buttload of reviews on different routers, I ordered a highly-rated TP-Link unit from Amazon. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1Originally posted by Sierra57Civil War 2.0 - If it comes to pass, the America-hating Leftists will have brought it upon themselves. So, in looking into other more in-depth reviews, the TP-Link router I ordered and is due to be delivered tomorrow isn't rated as well as I assumed and I've decided to return it. Which of the ASUS routers below would you experts recommend I order instead? To recap, we (two of us) don't stream much, don't game, live in a mobilehome - not a huge house. My ISP is Sonic and I'm on their Fusion DSL/Phone service if that matters.

I work from home and used a D-Link router for many years before it finally died, I replaced it with a Linksys AC1900 in Jan 2017 and so far it has held up well.
I speak with customers all time and do many hours of product demonstration via WebEx and the router has thus far performed pretty nicely for me. It is not the latest or greatest but I tend to prefer reliability over raw performance.Comment

Dragunov - can you tell me how exactly to go about deleting my Wi-Fi driver then reinstall it? I looked on Dell's site but couldn't seem to find any instructions for the process. I was able to save the latest driver for my Quallcom Wirelss Adapter to a Sandisk USB drive.Check your computer time, and date. If it isn't right, this can occur.

When I view my Quallcom Wireless Adapter in the Win 10 Device Manager, under the Driver tab, it gives the following actions. You can try "rollback Driver" first. It will roll it back to the last version of the driver.Dragunov - can you tell me how exactly to go about deleting my Wi-Fi driver then reinstall it? If that doesn't work.
You need to:
"Uninstall Device"
Reboot
Then re-install it from the thumb drive. If you downloaded it from Dell, it should be an executable.Comment
