To be truthful, if it weren't for the games I like to play, I'd be on Linux Mint, right now. Linux, WINE, VM, etc, are lousy gaming platforms.

The ONLY game on a PC is DDO, and don't really play X-Bone or even 360 games much these days. I really only got the X-Bone for Fallout 4... and I am done with that.

Yes, but I play Sims, which don't play at all on Linux. I have a few others that won't either.

Yeah I don't see the big drama; it's just the platform the applications are where the rubber meets the road.

I'm slowly moving away from Win7 myself. I use mostly Win 8.1. Only have one machine with Win10, and still several with Win7 in the "Rack"(Computers for sale).

I don't have a choice. All the computers at work have to be on Windows 10. The 2018 update for our accounting program requires window 10.

Yep still on 7 Pro, I tried windows 10 and hated it.

Yeah, well, a lot of us resent arm twisting. Right now, I'm evaluating Win10Pro. If I end up liking it, I'll use it. NOT because Microsnot says so. If I don't? I'll continue to use Win8.1, Win7, or a hybrid of Win8.1, and Win10.

I've already concluded, that Win10 Home is a P.O.S. I'm not even going to mention Win10s.

However, Win10Pro has promise. A lot more versatile, and adjustable using gpedit.msc. Haven't grafted it into home yet, but I'll probably do it this weekend. That would make Home, MUCH more tolerable.
