I know, I know 9mm vs 45 etc...
My note 4 died on my 2 months ago. I have been an android guy for years and never given iphone the time of day. Lately, I don't feel like there is any reason to stay with Android. They've followed iphone in every negative aspect. You cannot swap out batteries any longer, the latest pixel doesn't have expandable memory and Samsung loads their phones up with bloated apps. My wife and I both had a note 4 die after less than 2 years. Not to mention the Note 7 explosiveness.
Honestly, I don't feel like Android is giving me any reason to stay. I have never had a battery last more than a year, so the non-removable battery means I'll have to replace my phone after about a year. Iphones used to cost so much more, but they are about on par with the latest pixel and note 8. With the higher resale of the iphones, it seems like there is nothing left but switching to IOS and sell the phone after a year, when my battery is going out.
Also, Apple is an american company, and Samsung obviously is not.
What do you guys all think? What will your next major phone purchase be?
