Paste this address into your chrome address bar and hit return, it brings up all kinds of weird settings in google chrome.

    chrome://flags/#disable-webgl

And yes, I found it by searching for a way to disable my webGL... However did you guess...

Yes. Don't screw with those if you don't know what you're doing.

I stopped using Chome when I noticed Google auto-duped my "adult" bookmarks to my browser at work... Now i only use it w/out ever logging in to google on it, mainly just for Pandoa, and never use it for browsing.

          Firefox

          Brave is interesting too

The Brave browser is a fast, private and secure web browser for PC, Mac and mobile. Download now to enjoy a faster ad-free browsing experience that saves data and battery life by blocking tracking software.

Ha! Definitely a two-edged sword. It's convenient, not having to move my bookmarks, but I can see how that could also be a big problem.

I wonder if you would have the same issues using the open source Chrome, 'SRWARE IRON'

That happened to me except it was safari and my wife! We decided to share an iCloud account for backup and stuff, well it synced all our bookmarks and one night my wife asks me, "what's this big titty babysitters bookmark?"

                  Wow THAT sucks.

You should transfer your bookmarks to an HTML page and then use IT as a start page. Like a mini page within a mini page, adult page is linked, but not displayed until you click it...

You can select what you want Chrome to sync or not sync.
