    Planck time question

    Struggling......

I watched a reality is a sim vid and they mentioned that the speed of light has not been measured exactly....but when I look at the damnable internet and it says meters/second in a perfect vacuum is EXACTLY 299,792,458 (I am amazed that it is a round number....) well then that sounds like a constant?

So.......if the speed of light isn't exact and we are just approximating, how can a unit of Planck time based on the speed of light be a constant?

So how can I buy into the idea that Time is unitized, digitalized, pixelated, step by step, frame by frame, Planck unit by Planck unit, if the basic measurement has analog properties? Confused to say the least.

In terms of accuracy we know the speed of light more accurately than most laws of the universe. We can measure distance within an inch at thousands and thousands of miles because of it.

There are things that interfere with its speed (wavelength, gravitational influences, mediums) but generally, C is C until C hits something.

        EXACTLY 299,792,458
That is just saying that the meter is a derived unit, from the speed of light and the definition of the second.

            Bacon is the only constant.

The speed of light is exactly the speed of causality.

A meter it by definition is the Length traveled by light in a vacuum during 1/299,792,458 of a second which is why it is a round number

The length of a meter has fluctuated due to changes/imporvement in measurement technology over the years.

Notice a foot does not change that is because it is based on God's law which is immutable. More reason we should stay with the King's measurement rather than switch to metric.

More to the point when I was in school I told the teaching lady that the only math I needed was PENETRATION is (PEN = Weight of Bullet X
Impact velocity/diameter of bullet = depth of penetration) because i was joining the mobile infantry after school

                      Bacon, beer, and boobs.

Pretty good name for a band, if ya ask me.

Watch this the beginning talks about how the speed of light has fluctuated.

Try to calc. warp 7... or the speed of subspace freq. speeds.

Closest i go these days is to chrono my FPS in new reloads upon workup..

There are also limitations/error accumulation/uncertainty in every physical measuring device
