Converting ol Microsoft Access file (.mdb) to Access 2016

A long time ago, I created an Access database for all my reloading data. I recently re-imaged my PC, and installed the newest Office suite, 2016. Now I cannot open my old database.

Is there a way to convert it?

The latest versions of Access create databases in the .accdb file format. You can convert databases that were created in earlier versions of Access to the .accdb file format.

      Yep, pretty easy.

You might be able to import it as a CSV into Excel, or maybe even use a program called FILEMAKER PRO.

Worse case, you can always load up the older database software you used and open it again, then you should be able to export it out to a convertible file.

As stated above, MS stuff converts easily, but others like DAC pro or an earlier verion that ran in DOS might need a few gyrations.

Sounds like it may be an Access 97 file. You'll need Access 2003 to convert it to a 2003 file before converting to the new format.

              Yeah - Office 97. Damn.

Does anyone have Access 2003, and the inclination to convert it for me?
