    Malwarebytes?

Anybody using Malwarebytes. I have used it for a couple of years. Any pros or cons, is it worth $24.95 a year?

    I use the "free"version.

    YMMV.

I use the free version. It has performed very nicely for me. I'm considering upgrading to the pro version.

It isn't my main program but MAB does catch things other programs do not. my tech guy will use it if he finds malware on any of our computers.

I have used it for years. I have several of the lifetime licenses that I have purchased for all my PCs.

ESET is pretty good, my employer has it as our corp standard. No issues at all. If I were to buy one ESET would be my choice.

I don't pay for an Avast AV or MalwareBytes. I use the free version of both.

Then again, I don't download illegal software, movies, or music, so I have little use for the paid versions any longer.

after reading previous posts regarding ESET, i installed it on both of my computers. I absolutely impressed ! ESET also has tech support in San Diego, not an overseas call center. ESET is all you need. thxx bigbear !

Paid version on all computers business and private. Never a virus issue.

Good program, install it, check your computer, then uninstall it. Repeat as needed. It's a bit of a resource hog for an older computer.
