I buy all my TV wall mounts from Monoprice. I haven't used lag screws in ages, having switched to structural screws many years ago. I'm pretty confident GRK RSS fasteners have much higher pull-out strength and comparable shear to much larger diameter lag screws, and an impact driver drives them into studs like a hot knife through butter:
If you need one, get a kit to relocate an outlet behind the TV. Running the power cord through the wall is ghetto and an NEC violation. I've tried several and like this one best:
You can save a few bucks and buy the non-prewired kit if you already have a piece of appropriate NM (Romex) cable sitting around.
