Purchase a custom computer in 1-2 actions for low cost?

So I am tired of spending my time hunting down computers for people just to be told the project has been put on hold...

I wasted too much of my time comparing specs and software and taxes and shipping etc etc last night and I was curious:

Is there a place where you can go to input all you need and the final outcome is a VERY low priced (wholesale practically) computer ready to be shipped in a day or faster?

This will be more older hardware, no winblows 10, no 10TB drives, just a simple 160-320GB hdd, maybe even an SSD, 4GB of ram, maybe double, and a dual/quadcore cpu. No fancy graphics, not a gaming machine. Just entry level desktop that is somewhat future proof (CPU wise) with a decent warranty (2+ years) and a nice 22" or so IPS LED monitor to go with...

I know Microcenter works VERY close to this, but I was wondering if there is even some place cheaper...
7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

Need GOOD SS pins to clean your brass? Try the new and improved model...

And remember- 99.9% of the lawyers ruin it for the other .1%...

Our IT department has been going to these for desktop workstations as the old towers come up for replacement.

Just go to your favorite electronics retailer and buy one. You can also go online at Dell.com or any of the other retailers.

I suggest getting one of the Intel NUC i3 boxes.

A bargain basement Dell or refurbished Dell, from Dell, is a good way to go. Or a Dell from costco, but that will have Win 10...you might bevabke to buy a downgrade to an older OS.

By "project" and "people" I believe you mean acquaintance and question.

"Projects with custom computers" don't have the $200 budgets you're talking about, while people with $200 budgets don't have projects.

I always get a kick out of your tech question posts, it's basically trolling and very comical.

If OP's thread isn't a troll thread, then I would also support these HP recommendations. My company has installed thousands of them in the offices. For a simple business machine they are perfect.

At that price-point there is really nothing for "building".
At that price it is disposable, just like these, but these can have i5-i7 proc in them.

SSD, RAM, Proc, etc. No eSata I believe, just a one-trick pony, and you can install any OS you want.

I have been buying Dell Refurbed XPS and Alienware gaming rigs for years with complete satisfaction. My current Dell has great specs but it is a turd that won't boot reliably and the warranty terms make it a PITA to receive tech support.

As with a lot of things in life, if you can learn to do the previously confusing on your own, you can save a lot of time and money. Have you tried troubleshooting to make it boot more reliably or is it suspected hardware related? I don't mean to thread hijack, but maybe make a thread of your own to get to the root of the problem?

All kinds of solutions for you if you do some digging, mang.

If you've still got the installation disks, then save all the docs & such you want to a CD/DVD/external HD, then reformat the C: drive. If your system is overheating, open up the case & vacuum (not using canned air) the entire thing, top to bottom, side to side. Make sure the fans are clear of dust-bunnies, make sure the fans are fully operational (test while the case is open), make sure all the PCI cards, etc. are fully bedded in the slots, etc.

If you're really desperate, take it to a local vendor and have them check it out, you may have faulty memory, bad cable, bad power supply, etc.
