What's the trick jpeg file to image?

Rather than uploading and posting a jpeg file I occasionally would rather post a full size image here on CG. I see people do it all the time.
How do I do it?

If I understand your question, you need to host/ upload the photo to a site like photobucket. Then you use the "img" tags/ link to post the photo.

Settings in photobucket can be changed to adjust image size when uploaded.

Looks like you already have your answer.

I have my own webspace and since it is accessible by the public for certain things, I will place things there and reference them by the website + folder + filename...

If you were to see some of the things that I have posted, you can go to google and search for images that are named: www.stillyvision.com and you will get a whole slew of things. But if you GO to the website, you only see the one image because that is what I have chosen for anyone to see who is "browsing".

Before I upload most photos though I will resize them to no bigger than 1000 pix wide. Mainly because all the old farts with their 13" CRT that complain of anything much bigger than that. When you host and upload a full sized image, you become the DOUCHE the screws up the thread width...

So I guess if you want to upload your own photos and reference them, you should consider being considerate of the old fellers that are not able to view a page wider than 1024 without using the scroll bars. Do you have to? No, but people will ***** about it...
