Recommend me a reliable micro 32 SDHD card

Received a new Garmin GPS an needing a micro card, some on amazon are getting iffy reviews, what dose the CG crowd recommend ?

Sansdisk. Bought a 64 gig for my gopro a couple yrs ago. Haven't had an issue with it.

Best buy has a 64gb class 10 for $20 right now, don't bother with the 32

Transcend class 10 on Fleabay right now for $18 or $19 with free shipping, brand new free shipping. I got the 64GB card, but he has I think 128 and 32. I got a 32 for either 12.99 or around there. I can get links if needed. CA shipper, have them in a day or two.

I would look for Samsung, Sandisk or Transcend. Those are my personal tastes. Although I have a 32GB Lexmark I think in my Nikon.

Have you ever seen one in person?

It is very easy to spot fakes.

There is something wrong with the Chinese to English software/fonts because as I have noticed in just about EVERY case of fake crap from China that they copied there was the issue of grammar errors or spelling errors or just weird caps or symbols every now and then.

Dead giveaway. Do not believe me? Go to Fleabay and order a copy of MS Office 2010 professional. Make certain it says RETAIL and SEALED UP.

Then when you get it, have a look. You will find weird spaces here and there but the BIGGEST flop is when you open up the software and you get to see the fold out poster they REALLY screw up on it and it is the funniest thing to look at, at which time now you get to tell them that YOU have received an illegal copy of it. You can call MS and run the serial that you have and they will usually tell you that it is a VL good for xx activations, but you can not walk into a store and buy a VL on a retail box. That is a corp thing. I busted a lot of fools for that. In the end, I actually got to keep a counterfeit copy of the "retail box" and everything in it AND I got my money back. It was a very educational ride though. I forgot where I put it at too. I wanted to keep it to show people, but I forgot where it is :\

If there is ever any doubt about the legitimacy of things like flash drives or MEMORY cards, then there are several programs that will check out and validate the actual memory capacity of many of these items.

MANY times it seems that ANYTHING coming directly from China in the form of the USB sticks (my experience) is that they go to the trash bins and remove the SECONDS or the low capacity ones and then format them and make them look like 256GB flash drives or whatever. If you run the programs that check the space, (I have one that will scan and give a report I believe, free program too) they will tell you if it is a 2GB or a 4GB or whatever at which time you can reformat it as such, notify the vendor via DISPUTE and demand a refund. If they try to tell you that you need to send it, they MUST give you a valid address in ENGLISH. If they give you a chicken scratch address to send it to then you can complain to ebay that you do not know where to send it and ebay will usually side with you and issue you a refund and tell you to keep the drive. Then they get a mark on their record or they get banned and you get to know that you did some good fighting evil in the world AND keep the evidence to reference later on at an online forum when someone says that there are only fakes on ebay and amazon...

0o0o0o you see what I did there? This was all done of course before paypal split from ebay so I am unsure that the process will be the same.

Sandisk. I try to buy from B&H or Adorama due to the counterfeiting. While Amazon sold by Amazon is safe, I'm always weary about how 'Fulfilled by Amazon' inventory is mixed with Amazon by Amazon inventory.

As far as being able to spot a fake, the stuff that's coming out now is pretty good as far as packaging.

I would avoid Transcend simply because I've had bad luck with their CF and SD (poor read/write performance).
