Chrome just hosed my bookmarks manager!

here is how to get rid of the new bookmark manager, step by step:


1. Type "chrome://flags" in the address bar (without quotes)
EDIT: PRESS ENTER TO NAVIGATE TO THE URL YOU JUST ENTERED.
2. Press CRTL+F to open the "Find in Page" dialog box and enter "Enable Enhanced Bookmarks" in search box (again without quotes).
3. Make sure the highlighted section is titled:
Enable Enhanced Bookmarks Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android
Provides an off switch for: enhanced bookmarks experiment #enhanced-bookmarks-experiment
4. In the drop-down, select "Disabled"
5. At the bottom of your screen, click the "Relaunch Now" button.

The new Bookmark system is gone and the old one comes back.
You can go back and turn on the New system if you are a MetroFreak.

Thanks for the shortened version. I just edited my Mac to go back to the old Bookmarks Manager using the shortened steps. It worked and I'm not a computer person.

Its not working on my PC. It wont get past the ctrl + f window. when you type in the window, it just turns red and makes alarm noises.
