Mac problem: "Warning: SUID file ... modified

I try to use "Repair Disk Permissions" in my Disk Utility every month. A couple of months ago it started noting the following:

Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreS...has been modified and will not be repaired.

That's before the following which it had already been saying:

Group differs on "Library/Printers/InstalledPrinters.plist"; should be 80; group is 0.
    Permissions differ on "Library/Printers/Inst...should be -rw-rw-rw- ; they are -rw-r--r-- .
    Repaired "Library/Printers/InstalledPrinters.plist"

Any idea/s what's going on? Are these serious problems? How do I fix them?

Running OSX 10.10.2 on early 2009 2.66GHz iMac

(Mods: plz move if this is the wrong forum.)

Group #0 is the root group, to which only root should belong, and -rw-r--r-- is a stronger file permissions setting than -rw-rw-rw. So it looks like the InstalledPrinters.plist file used to be more secure. There may be no reason why the .plist file would need have that secure of file permissions, which is why you're probably seeing the error. In short, if it works, don't worry about it. On the other hand, you should probably do a little homework on file permissions. Being that you use a Mac, knowing your way around the terminal, and how to be an evil genius, may come in handy one day.

From what I understand Apple fixed an issue with the SUID file a long time ago. Disk Utility is telling you that the SUID file has been modified at some point and it is not going to fix it because it is assuming you want the file modified for security reasons.
