                I thought the big reason to buy Android over iOS was because of how open it is?

                                                It is proving to be not the case. It appears that google is tied in with android now, and all of the google crap is pushed on android users. I don't like apple because it isn't open and you don't have all the different choices. Android is starting to feel the same. The bloatware is stupid as well. I have a Droid Ballistic Turbo (because it is more tacticooool than the standard one ) and although it is supposed to not be a modified OS like some of them, it still had plenty of VZ crap on it. Updates have been ok so far, but fire fox has a zoom issue on my phone but not my android tablet.

                                                    Um.

                                                    Google created Android. It's tied in with Android like Microsoft is tied in with Internet Explorer. Of course they're pushing all the "Google Crap" on Android users.

                                                            I just updated my HTC one m8 to 5.0, didn't have any problems. Then I rooted it and turned s-off then installed viper Rom on it. No problems here
