    desktop memory casLatency

    I have to replace some old memory but im not sure how to proceed.

    My old RAM is CL 2.5 and i found some in my price range that are CasLatency 3.0. Will it work just fine?

        Wow easiest thread to fix something ever...

        Yeah I am gonna guess that ram really is OLD as is the computer because damn, I have seen latency lately that is approaching 9.

        The smaller the number the shorter the time it takes to yeah anyways but I think as RAM gets bigger the latency will get larger as well.

        Make sure that the ram is also the same type. PC2 does not equal PC3 or SDRAM...

        How about another Chihuahua story? Oh never mind, the mods are on to me...
