Why don't you leave a few guns out loaded of your safe for self defense?

Convert a Knack box. Can be found cheap on craiglist, and for about 40 bucks you can put interior in it. It won't be an "approved" safe/cabinet, but it's more secure, especially if it's bolted down and it's definetly bigger. You can get 24 long guns in it easily. For someone that cannot afford a safe, it is definetly an option. I did this basically to see how it would turn out.
