One of my roommates just came into the room to look at my AK, because he wants to look at my WASR to see what his Romie build is going to look like. Picks up my AK leaning on my safe [Getting ready for a Sunday shoot] and he drops it right on the corner of a ammo can.

Dented my foreend wood and scratched the receiver.. SOB! :cussing:

Kind of in a ****ty mood because I know its there but just want to pretend it didn't happen lol

Now to wait for the carpet trolls and the arm chair warriors to shame me caring and taking care of my guns.

Sounds like he owes you a nice Russian red stock and you finally found a reason to cerakote the receiver.

If you place a wet towel over the pressure dent and place a hot iron on the towel the pressure dent with expand back out to its original dimensions in most cases. I dropped a new Garand off a bench at burro and used this technique to remove Five rather deep dents in the new stock. It's simple so give it a shot.

Wow I feel much better about my gun now. That is MUCH worse than a dent. If it was that bad I would have lost lid.
