Quick review on Gunrunner in Merced. I am trying to set up a PPT between myself and another member here on Calguns. The only day we can do it is tomorrow afternoon and Merced is halfway between us.

I called Gunrunner to make sure they are open tomorrow as I wanted to do a PPT. I was advised by the employee that they do not do PPTs on Saturdays. I told him that FFLs are not allowed to limit the days that they do PPTs. He got all huffy and handed me off to the owner.

The owner got on the phone and said "yeah, what is it?". I repeated that I would like to come in tomorrow to conduct a PPT. He said again that I would have to come in on Tuesday through Friday. I repeated what I told the other employee and now the owner got all huffy and said, "you know what, fine come on in, I'll make sure you are the last person I help". He then said "you know what else? This is a favor we are doing for you doing PPTs, we lose money on these."

I tried to go the route of explaining to him that he should try to look at PPTs as a free advertising route that brings new potential customers into the shop that will purchasee accessories and guns. I could tell that I was wasting my time and just ended the conversation. Not even going to waste my time tomorrow by going there and will meet the calgunner somewhere else.

I have spent money at this shop before and I've even bought guns there but I can promise I won't spend any more money there.

By the way, as I'm sure I will get accused of this, I was very polite the entire time.

So, in conclusion, if you have a PPT to do and it happens to be a Saturday, stay away from there.
Hopefully the ahoe employee and or owner gets to read this. To many ahoes in this world.

If someone's willing to come up with about $400K, the owner told me last year that he'd be willing to sell the whole building (the WHOLE building) and then he and the Mrs. would move back to Missouri.

      Crowd funding opportunity?
