new christmas toys

anyone getting any new firearms or firearm related items (attachments, lights, upgrades, etc...) for christmas? i got a bonus at work that was dam near exactly enough to by the mossberg mvp i wanted. so im getting that and a new 80% lower for myself for christmas

looks awesome. i want to get a 1911 for my next handgun, but im trying to stay away from kimber because of issues my cousin had, but they do make great looking guns. so that makes life tough haha

No, I bought too many toys for Thanksgiving. And I don't get to pick up one of my purchases till Jan 9.

250 rounds down the pipe with mine and no issues, but they are know to be either great or lemons.

my cousin had his in a leg holster on a hike, and he took the entire holster off, gun still in it, so he could cross a stream. and the gun fired in the holster and shot him in the leg. it was one of the holsters where the entire trigger is covered, so he couldnt accidentally set it off. the cops took his gun and discovered that both of the safety's had malfunctioned due to production errors. kimber at first apologized to my cousin and said there was nothing they could do about it, until the police dept called them and was going to start a big investigation since it was factory issues that caused it. kimber sent 6,000$ to my cousin and paid his hospital bills and offered him a new gun. which he turned around and just sold it immediately. he was fine, just a through and through in the thigh. but he wont own another one after that. and so ive just been sticking with that mostly. imo there are plenty of others for me to choose from that im ok with ignoring their guns haha
