      I'm counting

1- felon in possession of firearm
      2- possession of "assault" rifles
3- possession of high capacity magazines
4- possession of short barrel rifle
5- felon in possession of ammunition
      6- possession of stolen firearm
7- possession of the methamphetamine and marijuana

Anything else I am missing? the SBR violation looks like the bottom AR-15, but they also said they found another illegally modified rifle at his home. I am not sure if they realize there are two SBR violations. The second picture can be found in the link. My question is, is each gun a separate charge eg- 3 counts possession of a "assault" rifle or is it just one for the total firearms found?

Was this in Leland Yee house???

After Prop 47 they're probably all misdemeanors and he probably won't even loose his rights let alone see prison time...

Well clearly he should be stripped of all his rights, barred for life of the right to self defense and government representation and thrown in prison for at least the next 10 years.

That's what all the cool kids on Calguns seem to be suggesting anyway. The funniest part is they think they're advocates and defenders of liberty when they couldn't be more of a threat to it.

I'd say his big problems would be violating the NFA rules, and having that much marijuana with intent to distribute and having guns along with it. There is some federal mandatory sentencing law that goes along with it.

The other stuff isn't really a huge deal most likely, but the NFA violation is good for 5 years in federal prison, and drugs with guns one is good for at least another 10, maybe 20 depending on if they eased that mandatory sentencing in recent years or not.

I doubt this guy will be back on the streets due to prop 47.

And something about that bottom rifle makes me think it's not real. I don't see FCG pins, or a safety selector on there. Also I love the taped on light or laser under the front sight.

That's personal usage, not even close to enough for sales or distribution, especially in Humboldt. Your going to need garbage bags full before that happens, and the fed's don't get interested until your at truck loads.

You can get caught with half a pound and not get intent to distribute?

How many bullets should people be allowed to own before it is no longer considered for personal use, and is punishable by law because they could potentially sell some bullets to someone else that wants bullets?

Well considering it's not illegal to buy, posses, or sell ammunition it doesn't apply here.

FWIW I think our marijuana laws are ridiculous and it should be legal. As are the NFA laws.
