Let's play guess those firearm violations

During a search of Gerarden’s vehicle, officers located two AR-15 style rifles, several fully loaded magazines for the rifles, .5 lbs. of processed marijuana, and a small amount of methamphetamine. One of the rifles was determined to have been reported stolen out of Nevada.

I'm counting

1- felon in possession of firearm
2- possession of "assault" rifles
3- possession of high capacity magazines
4- possession of short barrel rifle
5- felon in possession of ammunition
6- possession of stolen firearm
7- possession of the methamphetamine and marijuana



Anything else I am missing? the SBR violation looks like the bottom AR-15, but they also said they found another illegally modified rifle at his home. I am not sure if they realize there are two SBR violations. The second picture can be found in the link. My question is, is each gun a separate charge eg- 3 counts possession of a "assault" rifle or is it just one for the total firearms found?

Possession of an "assault rifle", no? "Assault Weapon", yes (AW is defined in CA Penal Code).

Possession of high capacity magazines isn't an offense.

I think the drugs and convicted felon in possession of a firearm offenses are more than sufficient to get him back in prison for quite some time.
