Stolen Valor

Ha made you look! Yesterday I was in a local gun store and they have a 1911 blue Dan Wesson Valor. It's on sale, for about $250 off of retail. After holding and messing with the Valor, I can see what all the fuss is about.

I need another gun like I need a hole in my head, but boy do I wish this gun would make it home with me for Christmas. I spoke to my Wife as a Christmas idea for myself. I knew she doesn't have the funds for such a purchase and I could reach and get it for myself, but that's not really my MO.

I have a 70's series stainless Kimber Target I could sale to off set some of the costs, but not sure about going that route either, as I don't believe in selling something you already own, and still like. The Valor would most likely be the finest semi-auto I would have in my collection. I'm not sure if I will get a deal like this on a new gun in the future and at this price it's a steal!. Anyway just venting, thanks for listening.

I went to take another look at the Valor this afternoon. After realizing I didn't get a Father's day present, nor a birthday present this year and my Wife was handsomely taken care of in each, I decided to purchase the Valor as a Christmas gift to myself. It was a steal at just over $250 off the retail price.

I want to thank each and everyone of you that made this purchase possible, I initially heard about the Valor here on CG.
