perennial hits with the girls are 9mm carbines, .223 ARs, and 12gauge shotguns (whether they can handle it or not doesnt matter, every girl wants to pull that trigger. must be a freudian thing)

My indoor range only allows pistols and rimfire rifles. My .22 will be the "biggest" gun there, but will fire the smallest round. I'd bring my Mossberg if I could. :\
