If you frequently purchase different types of firearms then it's worth it because they cover all different types. Not bashing Taurus guns but they've consistently ranked at the bottom of their tests plus add in people's negative reviews, which is the reason I've never owned a Taurus. It's very informative and unbiased.sigpicComment

I used to subscribe, but I have plenty of guns now and if I do decide to buy another, I check it out online. That said, it is a great mag with all the virtues everyone has already listed.Comment

Odd that you mention this. The sole reason I went ahead and bought my Tracker was due to the positive test they had. They gave it an A+. I do admit though that I haven't read many more articles on Taurus guns except maybe the 738 TCP which I recall a good grade on as well.Negativity is hard to counteract. Was it recent? Mine were quite some time ago so possibly it's gotten better?Odd that you mention this. The sole reason I went ahead and bought my Tracker was due to the positive test they had. I had to search the archives on both models when I look them up originally. I just logged in and checked and the Tracker was reviewed May 2007 and the 738 was January 2011.Negativity is hard to counteract. Stupidity is even harder. - Tim SchmidtComment

I subscribed for years and it's a very good unbiased magazine. Good reports on ammo and accessories too. I stopped recently when I realized the world had moved on from us here in CA and most of the reports were on firearms we can't have here due to our oppressors in sacto.
If "The List" ever falls and we can freely buy what most everyone else can get outside of CA maybe I'll sign-up again.NRA & CRPA member

Thank you all for your input. This last reply was a concern of mine (California list), but since the magazine/newsletter is so cheap, I think I will subscribe anyway.I subscribed for years and it's a very good unbiased magazine.
