            Use the Zcorr bags. About $2.50 a bag, it's what our military uses for storage and can protect up to 20 years.

                Plastic bags are for sandwiches.

                If storing long term (years), wear a pair of gloves (oil from your skin attracts rust), take them apart, lightly oil everything (gun oil not WD40), put them together and store them (unloaded) in a 50cal ammo can with a tight sealing lid.

                Done.
