    $100 deer scope?

    I just got the Bushnell AR Optics 3-9x40 Scope on Sale for $123 Shipped. This is a really nice quality scope for the money! Lifetime Warranty.

          That is more than the "under $100" you stated. Burris is an ok choice for the lower end scope. Later when you get more experience you may want to upgrade. That is if you shoot/hunt very much. Especially in all weather conditions.

          It is not a matter of being a snob. It is the fact of having hunted and been a shooter for many years and seeing what really happens out in the field. It also helps to have worked at a good gun shop and see what companies and models of scopes have the large amounts of returns. Also hearing the sad stories from unhappy hunters/shooters about the scope failing.
          A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

            That is true...

            I got a Bushnell 3x9-40 at Big5 for $79 on sale a year ago. Works great for what I paid for it and it holds zero which is most important.
