I am limited to spending under $100 for my .308 deer rifle scope. Is such a thing possible? What say you? Thanks...

Save your money and get a better scope which will cost more than $100. Deer season is over. Save up and buy before next deer seasonA 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Gary
I recently picked up a new Burris Fullfield II 3x-9x-40mm scope for only $110 after getting a $50 rebate back from Burris. This scope regularly sells for $200 but I found an authorized Burris Dealer in Colorado who sells it for $160 shipped free with no sales tax.
The scope has very nice, clear glass and the build quality seems very good. It has a Ballistic Plex Reticule with holdover dots that make taking longer shots accurately easier. It is rated waterproof, shockproof, and fogproof and is covered by the Burris Forever Warranty.
FYI - Burris sells a Fullfield II 3x-9x-40mm scope with a conventional Duplex Reticule but it's not on the rebate program. I personally like the Ballistic Plex Reticule better with it's ability to help with holdover estimation.
For your budget, I truly don't think you will find a better deal on a nicer scope backed with a lifetime warranty.

Don't listen to the Glass Snobs, Gary. There are some perfectly good lower cost scopes out there that will take deer just fine.

Gary listen to the guys who have been shooting and hunting for longer than the others have been alive. SAVE your money. Yeah you can see through a cheap scope and that cheap scope can also cost you a hunt. Not a great feeling at the last minute of the last day of the season.Comment

The Simmons Whitetail Classics are good scopes for the money. I have several, and they are actually better than my Bushnell Banner. They may be a little hard to find, butwith careful shopping around one can find them.Comment
