I am surprised that everyone on this website is not a member.

    You absolutely want to join.

If you own a gun, you should be a member.

We are outnumbered by anti-Constitution and anti-gun masses that are constantly trying to take away our Civil Rights. NRA has strength in numbers to fight against the usurpation of our rights. The greater our numbers, the greater threat we are to the anti's.

The NRA is one of the first and last lines of defense against the anti's. If you care to preserve those rights you had better join the ranks.

A better question would have been not what the NRA can do for you, but what can you do for the NRA.

Every time someone joins the NRA- a Bolshevik pees their pants.

Join the NRA for the Constitution and the 2nd Amend. cause.

Its the easiest way to do something concrete if- you believe in the 2nd.

          Yes.

Look at all the things the NRA has done in California alone.

This and your CRPA #. You want to use the marketplace to make a buck, then support the organizations fighting for your rights.

The NRA has been forced by events to evolve from a shooting organization concerned primarily with marksmanship, into a political organization fighting not only for the 2nd Amendment but for the 1st and others as well.

I like it! Excellent idea. It'll keep the lefty plants off the site and their contant propaganda attempts - or make them pay for a membership from an organization they despise.

There are a lot of benefits to joining the NRA. Most importantly, is the fact that you are contributing to an organization that is constantly fighting for our 2A rights. Definitely join, I only wish I was able to contribute more often.

You are benefiting from their efforts. So you can help pull the load or draft on the efforts of others.

Have you made your Calgun donations yet?

If you watch the shooting shows every Wednesday on the Outdoor Channel, Jim Scoutten of SHOOTING USA offers a discount on NRA membership.
The link is on the Shooting USA website:

28 posts in... I knew I would be too late... Is there some kind of script we can write so that whenever a thread starts "NRA blah blah blah" we can just insert the following?

A: Simply email us at membership@nrahq.org or dial 800-NRA-3888 and request to be placed on the "Do Not Promote" list. This will significantly reduce the amount of mail you receive without affecting important mailings, magazine service, or your membership renewal.
