Yeah, many people consider post count to be an indicator of member quality/status. Makes sense not to count anything that isn't actually topical toward that (admittedly misguided) presumption of authority.

I saw a guy selling a "ak-47 ww2 ammo can". Just a typical 7.62 us ammo can. Really wanted to at least tell him ak47 was not used during ww2... ohwell..someone is going to have a very rare ammo can

I confirmed a sale of a pistol the seller had on an ad on Calguns we discussed where to meet, time, location and he asked to confirm the next day. I called as he wanted left a message on his his phone that everything looks good and would be there around 6:30pm and we can transfer the pistol as planned at the shop with the FFL. I received a call from him but no message was left by him I called to make contact several times left message also. I did drove to our meeting place as planned I called 4-5 times while waiting 1 hour 15 minutes but no show, no return calls back. This is my first attempt to purchase on Calguns but in our daily walk of life you come across losers and this guy is a BIG one !
I signed up Calguns many back years when I first moved into Sacramento but I have not been active on Calguns on buying or selling.

I would leave negative feedback...although you did not complete the transaction, you did lose time, not to mention MONEY for you time and transportation costs. If seller whines, moderators can figure it out.

Number of posts here is no guarantee of seller or buyer integrity.

In forums respected for their For Sale-type forums, the seller would have already been banned for being a flake.

Don't be disillusioned by this experience, most buyers/sellers here good people.

Since the meeting was never confirmed by the seller, as agreed to do the previous day, even though you did the honorable thing, I think a neutral rating is the best option.
