I don't own one, but I got to play with one during Shot Show 2014. It was so light I could not believe it would work as a functional bcg.

If my goal was to make a build as light as possible, I would look into getting one.

I think it is a neat concept although I am curious if it effects function in certain configurations.

I don't know anything about the company or the BCG pictured. I do believe low mass bolt carriers are used by some in 3 gun as part of an overall system, including ammo, to lower recoil for quicker follow up shots. I would probably go with a JP version in that case.

These days, anyone with a machining center can get into the AR world by making something more outrageous and out there than everyone else.

I guess if someone has to have the lightest AR compared to others, using the lightest parts possible. Will it perform? Someone will find out, but it won't be me.
