Don't Get Mad When you Read This!

Just for curiosity, why are there so many Sigs for sale if they are so supposed to be so good? I am a HK fan and see a few HKs here and there, but the Sigs are everywhere, forum after forum. There are so many for sale I had to ask, what's up?

If you are a Sig fan sorry for this question.

I've noticed stuff sells in cycles. I have noticed a lot of Sigs. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a lot of P7's. I think people see the FS post of a similar gun and think, "Oh yeah, I was going to sell my pistol..."

Yeah with all the HK guys upgrading to XD's I would imagine its a good time for the sig owners to upgrade

I've sold 1 Hk and 1 Sig. Sold the Hk USP45 because I preferred the Sig 220st, then sold the Sig 220st because I figured I had that area covered with my 1911s.

Now I want to sell one of my 1911s to get another 1911.

They are popular guns. Lots of people own them, so that means that you will see more than a few for sale. Don't think that it is really a statement about the brand in general, though.

I own lots of Sigs and HK's and some Glocks as well, but sorry, HK is not better than Sig if that is the hidden agenda behind this thread. I have sold quite a few Sigs in the last few years but all of them were to fund another Sig. I have never sold a Sig for an HK but have sold two HK's for Sig's. I bought my HK's later after owning a few Sigs because at the time I was starting with handguns, and couldn't decide between an HK and a Sig, I go to the range to rent bought and usually end up liking and buying the Sig first. After I acquired all the Sigs, then I got the HK's. I think people sell their Sigs also because they can sell them for more $ than they can other gun brands. In the classifieds here alone I counted 8 HK's for sale and 5 Sigs within the first two pages, so........? The supply and demand for Sigs are there. This is why I think you see lots of them in the classifieds. Both great guns but if I could only own one of the two brand, I would choose a Sig.

                      They both have their place.

More Sigs are out there - a lot more agencies issue them, more CPOs, more reasonable prices.

                      Plus, Sig doesn't hate you.

So....Anybody got a sig p226r that they wanna trade for my HK USP 9mm?
but seriously...I own an hk but my smaller hands can't adjust to the frame and there's a SLIGHT bit of creep on the trigger in SA that feels like striker fired.
