Is Funkammo ducking me?

This is my first complaint thread but on September 12, 2014 I paid for 2 pistols from funkammo. 1 was a yugo m92 and the other a mini draco. On September 23 they told me that they were waiting on the m92 before they ship. I then asked them if they could ship the mini since we in CA have a 1 pistol in 30 day rule. Now the mini is out if stock and they haven't responded to my numerous emails and dont answer the phone. I have a strong feeling that I wont get either pistol by the deadline. This sucks and they never stated that either would be out of stock when I ordered. Buyer Beware!

One man shop as far as I can tell. Same type of thing happened during the magazine repair kit rush. Guy who runs the shop has a tendency to get in way over his head but he came though in the end. Just keep trying to get in touch.

I had a very poor transaction with this guy and will not buy again. If I were you I would try to find the handguns elsewhere before the SSE ends.

I just got a few blocked BHO Yugo mags...ordered last Thurs and got shipping notice w/tracking again.

Either case, don't hold your breath, especially with the SSE deadline coming. Find an M92 and Draco elsewhere and charge back what you spent at Funk...he might fight it, but free up your funds so you can buy elsewhere.

I was tempted to put a deposit down at Funk for the M92 but another Calgunner PMd me when Riflegear had them in stock...I'll happily do the same if I find one in stock for you since I have one now in jail.

I have a person who can help you buy an M92...costs a little more, but it's a reliable vendor. PM me if you want the info.

I ordered several yugo BHO mags last month.
All arrived filthy, one broken, only two held the ten rounds advertised.
Thats after waiting almost one month for them to ship AFTER my card had been charged and three emails and two phone calls ignored.

Charge back your card and buy elsewhere, Im never shopping there again.

You've had almost 2 years to buy your SSE's since we knew it was coming!! Funk is a great CA friendly company just a bit slow. We had all these same complaints with rebuilds last year too but its really up to the consumer to plan ahead. My ***** is in the same boat as yours I shoulda bought more when the going was good

I certainly love all the advertised California friendly goods he sells, but charging your card a month before an item ships, sending below advertised quality, misrepresenting specifications, and not returning phone calls or emails are not qualities I consider "great".

...bro. Not sure how long you've been into the hobby. When people dont plan well, people start scrambling. Many people scrambling at the same time = you have to wait, even if it's a email or phone call.

I anticipated the rush last year. I'm gtg with Funkammo. Yossi is a great standup guy. You won't get the typical grumpy elitist lgs attitude with him. Be thankful they dont hate Californians for our laws.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience OP, I just went through FunkAmmo for my Mini Draco as well, it took him about a week to get the pistol shipped but otherwise I had problems. I even called to verify they had received my FFL info. For what it's worth I believe they had their phone number changed recently are you sure you have been calling the correct place?

I wouldn't recommend them. It took them 1 month to ship an AR pistol out. I would be fine if he gives you a heads up that it will take 1 month to ship prior to checking out. But I found that out after.

Also, they charge your CC right away. Not right when they ship the item. Poor business practice IMO.
