Cut the other end of the glock case (the hinge side) and just make that the opening side, Velcro it close. The case is still technically locked.

happened to me before. i sent the case and gun to the DOJ and they were able to remove the lock.

By the time OP has read the entire thread, he could have cut the lock off, gone shooting, spent a day at work, gone out to dinner, put shoes on AND gone shooting again after visiting a hardware store and buying a new lock.
